PFALZSOLAR RECEIVES CERTIFICATION FOR QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMLudwigshafen , 17.08.17
“Our Quality and Environmental Management is a clear promise to our customers, partners and stakeholders,” says Jan Vonhöne, CEO of PFALZSOLAR. “The certification was a logical step to control our standards and targets in this area on a long-term basis.” With the presentation of the certificates an exciting period of internal and external audits ends up this Thursday. At the same time, this date marks the start of a management system which is based on the ISO 9001 and 14001 standards. Thereby, a consequent improvement process in all company divisions is one of the most important things for PFALZSOLAR.
“Our aim is to provide our customers and investors at any time with the PV power plant that fits their needs perfectly – no matter what size the plant is,” underlines Jan Vonhöne with regard to the company’s Quality Management System. “This requires ideal processes, from the very first contact to the after sales service.” For Jan Vonhöne it’s obvious that the company didn’t only intend to have their Quality Management certified but also their Environmental Management. Though, PFALZSOLAR operates own PV power plants with a capacity of around 20 Megawattpeak and contributes in this way to climate protection. PFALZSOLAR’s own power plants save annually more than 11 thousand tons of CO2. Apart from this very low carbon footprint, the company has set further important environmental targets with impact on all business units.
PFALZSOLAR is developing and selling large scale turnkey projects since 2003. Since 2011, the company has extended its business activities to other relevant areas such as Operations & Maintenance, Residential PV and also to foreign countries like the U.S., Great Britain and the Netherlands. Through the certification PFALZSOLAR hopes to strengthen their competitive advantages in the national and international PV market. “The PV sector is a relatively young sector with very low standards in many areas. That’s why trust and quality are so important for customers and investors.” Says Jan Vonhöne.
